![]() Growing Hoop Goes Up Thanks to Kind Donors Unity Gardens needs your help! We have had a great 2012 season! In 2012 alone,we have moved into our own office and classroom, built a outdoor classroom at the LaSalle Square Unity Garden, helped support over 48 Unity Gardens, started extended season growing, hosted over 100 classes, held 14 Unity Gardens events, and fed hundreds of families and children throughout our community! We have great plans for 2013 also! In order to keep "growing" we need community support! Everyone can help in some way. For those of you who are able, please consider donating to Unity Gardens! Every amount helps. The Indiana NAP tax credits help make donating more fruitful. 50% of donations over $100 to Unity Gardens are eligible for Indiana tax credits. That means donors receive half of their donation back on their tax refund or off of the taxes owed to the state! This incentive is in addition to the usual federal deduction for charitable giving.Donations for the NAP program will help fund the Unity Garden greenhouse/ growing house, aquaponics, the summer kids club, and other educational programs designed to keep our community engaged in the garden year round. Help us grow! You may mail checks to Unity Gardens Inc PO Box 10022 South Bend, IN 46680
