Support the Nurture & Nourish Program! 

In 2024, Unity Gardens shared 50,000 pounds of food through our Sharing Shelf. In 2025, we shared 350,000 pounds! The Community Foundation of St Joseph County recently awarded Unity Gardens a matching grant to expand this program. This will let us invest in temperature controlled storage, vehicle, and personnel to share even more food!

Tour de Unity is back!!

Our old fundraiser from over ten years ago has returned! Join us on a bike ride between different Unity Gardens and enjoy a small plate created by Ivy Tech students at each one!

CSA stands for C.ommunity S.ponsored A.griculture! When you sign up, you receive a box of fresh produce grown locally and all naturally here at the Unity Gardens and support us at the same time. All proceeds go back into our free programs.

Gardens
Unity Gardens has a main garden at LaSalle Square on 3701 Prast Blvd. There are also 40+ satellite gardens around the city of South Bend and beyond. All gardens are FREE PICK! If you see a Unity Garden sign help yourself!​

Unity Gardens offers classes to both adults and children. Class topics are often garden focused, but can have artistic and creative activities to engage those who attend. All Unity Gardens classes are free and open to the public!​
