Earth Day!
|
April 18th 9am-2pm @ 3701 Prast Blvd
Join us in kicking off a garden clean up and setting up the growing season for success. The work at Unity Gardens could not be done without volunteers who share their hard work and love to our story. To celebrate the nature we work so hard to care for and embrace, volunteers are able to "stop and smell the roses" at the 3 workshops through out the day! Workshops (open to all!): 9:00 am - Native Seed Bomb Workshop - Learn the benefits of native plants & make a seed bomb to take home and spread the joy! 11:00am - Spring Foraging Walk - Learn about all the edible plants spring has to offer that you wont find in the produce aisle. 1:00pm - A History of Unity Gardens - We have been here for over a decade and the garden has come a long way! Enjoy a stroll and learn about the ups and downs of how an edible park is created. |
Raised Bed SalesIf you're looking to get into gardening or ready to give your space a facelift, consider purchasing a raised bed from Unity Gardens! All proceeds support our free pick garden space. Beds are made out of treated lumber and corrugated sheet metal for extended life in the garden.
