Come Volunteer With Us!
When can I volunteer at the main garden?
Volunteer anytime during our open hours at our Welcome Center on 3701 Prast Boulevard! Right now that's 9am-7pm Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm Saturday-Sunday.
When can I volunteer at the satellite gardens?
Satellite gardens often would love the help! If you have a garden you'd like to help, contact the garden leader to see when and what they're working on. Contact information can be found in the satellite garden directory below.

What can you expect?
Working in the garden is a day-by-day, season-by-season activity. Depending on the season, the weather, and Mother Nature's plans, our tasks range from starting seeds in pots, weeding in the garden, mulching paths, painting signs, and everything in between. In the winter, we'll have some work outside on nice days, but mostly spend time sorting bottle caps to melt into benches and sorting seeds.
How to prepare?
Get ready to play in the dirt! Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty, closed-toes shoes, and any sun/bug protection you may need. Also, bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. We supply gardening gloves and all of the tools and equipment.
