Sessions:
- June 27th: Plant anatomy and competition
- Lets look at all the parts of the plant, what they do, and why they are important. Then we will play a game that transforms students into plants as they compete for resources!
- July 4th: Types of Gardens
- Unity Gardens is home to many different garden types. Join us for a tour of the varieties while we learn the different ways and reasons to build a garden!
- July 11th: Animals in the Garden
- The garden is not just a place for plants but other life too! We will go over the types of animal we can find in the garden, especially bugs! Then students will get the chance to use what they learned to build their own bug with craft supplies.
- July 18th: Garden Olympics
- The 3rd annual Garden Olympics! Come out with excitement to join either Team Broccoli, Team Tomato, Team Blueberry, or Team Carrot in competing in multiple activities. The winning team will be displayed on the trophy all year at the Unity Gardens Welcome Center!
