Fall Food Series

Wednesdays in October, 6-7pm at 3701 Prast Blvd
Optional Registration
It's October & the first frost is coming! How do you preserve your harvest and utilize the last of your garden produce? Join us on Wednesday evenings in October to learn. Classes are hosted at 3701 Prast Blvd from 6-7pm. Registration lets us know how many people to expect but is not binding or required.

  • September 30th: Pickling with Chef Patsy
  • October 7th: Canning with Chef Patsy
  • October 14th: Fermentation with Joe Gady of Farming for Life 
  • October 21st: Late Harvest Gems with Chef Alan: 
    • ​Brussel sprouts, squash & pears, oh my!! Come learn how to enjoy these late harvest gems in the kitchen with Chef Alan!
  • October 28th: Fire Cider with Eve of Unity Gardens
    • Fire cider is a traditional fiery remedy known for strengthening the immune system and preventing illness during the long colder months. It is often made with key components like horseradish, ginger, turmeric, black pepper, onion, garlic, and honey. However, the recipe can be adjusted to suit your wellness needs and/or creative whimsy!
